M is for Music Summertime Kids Program

The Monroe Lending Library's Summertime Enrichment program was again a huge success.

This year's theme of "M is for Music" introduced the children to the four classifications of instruments: String, Percussion, Brass and Woodwind. There was a craft and story relating for each instrument and a "concert" for the parents on the final day, followed by a party of ice cream and snacks.

Quarter Auction: Friday September 3, 2010, 7pm

The next Quarter Auction will be held Friday, September 3th at 7pm in the Mt Pleasant Activity Building at the corner of Indiana & Northwestern Ave, just off Britton Lane.

Do You Collect Coupons?

The Monroe Lending Library now collects coupons for community use. 

We have 2 boxes on the shelf by the front door: one for food and household items and another just for animal products. Feel free to stop by and take a few or add a few. We realize times are tough and coupons can help cut your monthly bills. 

We have a Book Drop Box!

After 5 long years of saving, fundraisers and a $500 grant from Duke Energy, the Monroe Lending Library was finally able to purchase a much needed outdoor book drop box.
